As a past President of the Roswell Rotary Club, Harvey Smith of SmithCraft Homes is a strong proponent of the theme of Rotary: "Service Above Self."
Smith is the first to tell you this year that North Fulton is in a more challenging real estate market. This is why he has chosen to take a proactive response to join his business and fundraising for Rotary.
Smith has built a beautiful estate home in Litchfield Hundred, one of Roswell's premier neighborhoods. The house is on the market for $1,195,900, but Smith is proposing that during the month of September, to donate all proceeds from the sale of the home above his reserve minimum of $1,150,000. The funds will go to the Roswell Rotary Foundation. Funds raised through this Foundation go to charitable organizations in North Fulton County and throughout the world. This year's signature project is the North Fulton Child Development Association, an organization dedicated to serving the needs of disadvantaged children in the North Fulton community.
"This is not a one-time venture," said Smith. "Depending on the outcome of this project, I am considering doing this for other local charities on an annual basis as a way to give back to our community."
