09-10-07 Roswell Rotary Tees Off in a Big Way!

Roswell Rotary celebrated its 29^th Annual Aubrey Greenway Charity Golf Tournament on September 10^th, 2007 at Brookfield C.C. and broke all records in the process by raising over $152,000

The all day affair started with an early morning prayer and ended well into the evening with an auction. Throughout the day over 73 corporate & individual sponsors; dozens of volunteers; and over 250 golfers came together in the spirit of fun, fellowship & community service to help raise money for Roswell Rotary & the many charities it supports.

A fundraising tournament of this magnitude requires a lot of planning, organization, participation & leadership and Roswell Rotary is very blessed to have uniquely dedicated members contributing in all of these areas. With nearly 100% participation from Roswell Rotary’s 200+ member club, its success is truly a team effort. “I want to thank Gene Beckham for his leadership, this was truly a team effort by the golf committee and the entire Roswell Rotary Club making this year’s golf tournament the best ever.” Dave McCleary Chairman 2007.

Roswell Rotary would like to thank our food & beverage sponsors for providing all of our participants with great meals & beverage options throughout the day.
