Today's speaker was Claudia Mertl, District 6900 Governor 2005-2006.

Governor Mertl spoke about the Rotary Bequest Society. One can put a codicil in their will to donate ten thousand dollars or more from their estate to the Rotary Foundation to carry the ideals and service of Rotary into the future of our growing world.

Roswell Rotarian, Donna Smythe, Director of North Fulton Child Development Assoc., accepted a donation today from Roswell Rotary to the NFCDA. The NFCDA is one of our favorite charitable organizations in Roswell.

Past District Governor Claudia Mertl presented Cheryl Greenway with an award recognizing her excellence in member recruitment.

Today we welcomed three more Roswell Rotarians as Paul Harris Fellows.

It's always good to welcome new members to Roswell Rotary -

Pete Calabro, 2nd from L and Brian Clark, 4th from L were initiated today!

Today we had a very special presentation- Tilly Wood, long time resident of Roswell and founder of some Roswell organizations such as the Roswell Women's Club, was honored by The Roswell Rotary Club with a Paul Harris Fellowship in memoriam.

Jere Metcalf is Tilly's granddaughter.
Jere Wood is Tilly son and Mayor of Roswell.
Mary Jo is Tilly's daughter and Roswell Veterinarian for a number of years.
Aubrey Osteen is Mary Jo's Husband and expected to run for Fulton County Sherriff.
