accelerate the leadership opportunities for students

In Leadership 2020, our goal is to share some of the experience of members of our club and to accelerate the leadership opportunities for students. This event was held this year on February 15th at the Community Activities Center in Roswell. Four Rotarians covering various aspects of leadership and development, Steve Stroud, Pat DiGeorge, Jim Broadway and Bucky Cook held rotating 45 minute sessions for these students. Following the morning sessions, the students were lunch guests of the club and were treated to the stories of Vicki Locke of Star 94 radio. The afternoon was spent with officials from the City of Roswell, who educated the students on the inner workings of our city government. At the end of the day the students are asked to complete and evaluation form for the benefit of our club in improving the program for the next year. Overall reports from the students were extremely positive.
