Sarah Dunning - New Zealand

Sarah Dunning is our GRSP Student for 2002-2003. She was born in Takapuna, New Zealand, and has lived there for 21 years. Sarah graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Auckland, and hopes to pursue studies in Astrophysics and Political Science further down the track. She is attending UGA this year.
Keen to meet different people, Sarah runs half-marathons, swims, and enjoys reading novels in her spare time. Her host family, the Youngs, are pleased to note her passion for cooking dinner and baking bread. Sarah is pleased to have found an appreciative audience for her hobby.
In New Zealand, Sarah is the middle child in a family of five. Her father, Greg, is a lawyer, Rotarian, and Paul Harris Fellow. Juliet, her mother, is a retired teacher aide. The elder daughter, Jane, is currently completing her PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland, while James will start his undergraduate studies in English literature next year.
Sarah's email address at Georgia this year is sdunning@uga.edu.
